Amplifying the Senses

Before wisdom can be heard,
the body must feel safe enough to listen.

This practice begins with the breath
because intuition speaks softly,
and the nervous system must be calm enough to receive it.
When the body settles, perception sharpens.
The quiet becomes audible.
What is true becomes easier to feel.

The Rose Geranium Threshold Ritual

Before tasting, we awaken the senses.

Hold a leaf of rose geranium
to your lips.

Notice its velvet texture.
Notice its brightness,
its living fragrance.

Do not rush to identify it.

Simply notice.

Scent is the sense capable of
detecting a trillion variations—
let it become the bridge
between the body and the intuitive mind.

Breathe in slowly.
Hold for a moment.
Release.

As the fragrance moves through you,
imagine it clearing the residue of the day—
the analysis, the urgency, the what-ifs.

The rose geranium becomes a threshold:
between thinking and sensing,
between worry and wisdom,
between consuming and truly receiving.
