This is my next leap after starting and growing Vosges Haut-Cocolate for over 25 years. I have begin again, I have always been a Seeker, drawn toward self truth and the discipline of listening to it. Whenever I have ignored that truth, life has responded swiftly. What once felt like chaos I now understand as acceleration. Growth has rarely arrived gently. It has arrived decisively, demanding that I evolve. Over time I have learned that resilience and unwavering self trust transform fear into power. When we trust our inner compass, what appears impossible begins to reorganize itself. It does not disappear, but it becomes navigable.
And so I find myself here again, called to create in loving partnership with cacao.
I have long felt connected to the spirit of cacao, as so many have across cultures and centuries. Yet I know my work with it is unfinished. This chapter is rooted in energetics. The energetics of imagination, of essence, of botanicals and the intelligence they carry. Every living being holds a spark, a Divine Signature entirely its own. My hope is that when you taste these chocolates, you recognize that spark not only within the cacao, but within yourself.
As you open the truffle collections, you are invited into the Cacao Spiritus Experience. It is an exploration of imagination as a gateway to essence. Imagination is not fantasy. It is perception refined. It is the access point to inner wisdom and the courage to trust your innate gifts. My intention is to hold up a mirror and celebrate you. Your singular presence. Violet Flame is Katrina Markoff’s most distilled expression of chocolate.
After redefining luxury confections through her first brand Vosges Haut-Chocolat with global spices and cultural reverence, Markoff turned inward. Violet Flame is not expansion. It is refinement, a deeper concentration of craft and consciousness.
Each collection is tightly curated. Truffles, gianduia, toffee, sipping cacao. Nothing ornamental. The integrity of the cacao leads.
Sourced from biodynamic and organic farms, every ingredient is selected with restraint. Flavor unfolds in measured layers rather than spectacle. Texture is intentional. Melt rate is considered. Pleasure is structured.
RARIFIED INGREDIENTS
From PDO-certified Sicilian pistachios harvested biannually to single-origin cacao drawn from small, devoted farming communities, sourcing is custodial, not transactional. Each botanical is chosen for both sensory complexity and energetic integrity.
Produced in small batches with uncompromising standards, Violet Flame is a study in focus. Chocolate crafted with reverence for the material and respect for its lineage.

Our ackaging is crafted from FSC-certified cardboard and paper sourced from responsibly managed forests. Designed with minimal glue and no magnets, each box is thoughtfully created to reduce environmental impact while remaining refined enough to be reused, collected, and treasured as a lasting keepsake.
Each shipment is protected with compostable insulation and biodegradable gel packs, carefully chosen to preserve the chocolate while reflecting our commitment to thoughtful, earth-conscious practices.
